Members of the public were invited to bring a picnic and spend the day on Pit Top on Ripley Greenway for a Pavement Art Competition and a Litter Pick Competition.

Some of the most famous artists have used fruit and vegetables as a starting point for their still life compositions. Participants were invited to draw inspiration from the nearby allotments to come up with images based on fresh fruit and vegetables.
There were prizes in different age categories for the winning entries.
Members of the public were also invited to pick the most litter and win a prize.
